About
Ainslie Forrest – Director Firm Foundations
Ainslie is passionate about supporting families and helping children to reach their goals through fun and meaningful, play-based intervention. Since graduating from La Trobe University with a Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice in 2011, Ainslie has worked in the Early Childhood Intervention space, as well as hospital and private practice settings. Having supported families and children with complex needs, Ainslie is skilled in addressing challenges, great and small, across all areas of development from motor skills to emotional and cognitive needs. Her broad range of skills means she views each child and their needs with a holistic approach, identifying the underlying issues so she can address the cause to build a strong foundation for learning and development. Working with a family centred, evidence based approach, she listens to you as the parent and aims to enhance your knowledge and skills so you are empowered to support your child day to day.
Ainslie’s fun spirit and warm nature mean she is quick to build rapport and a trusting relationship with you and your little one. As a mother of two young children herself, she understands the demands of family life and the desire for your child to reach their full potential.
Ainslie is a registered clinician with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and member of Occupational Therapy Australia.
